Masquerade Ball

n Saturday October 29, DAMNED will heighten the exhibition towards a sensuous celebration of extravagant delicacies, libations and dance with a formal, mask-mandatory Masquerade Ball.

Beginning at 7pm, an intimate VIP Ball Pre-Show will precede the Ball with very special aerial performances by Detroit Flyhouse accompanied by a 13-dish strolling dinner prepared by the Caucus Club and diversely flavored honey wine tasting courtesy of B Nektar Meadery. Exotic desserts, gift bag and keepsake photograph is also included, as well as VIP access to the sensually lush VIP Mezzanine with private bar and live televised performance simulcasts for the rest of the night.

Then from 9pm until 2am, the evening becomes enveloped with the aural ambiance of DJ Quig with Sugar Hiccup mixed with a menagerie of exotic cirque performances. As a special nightcap, we graciously welcome back the mesmerizing live strings of Dixon in a rare solo performance. See the performance schedule for further details.

JUST ADDED: For those espoused souls, the venerable Reverend Jimmy Doom (yes, Reverend Doom) will be presiding to renew marriage vows in a mass ceremony just before midnight (the dawn of Devil’s Night) during the Ball to end in a glorious balloon drop.  If you are interested in participating, please contact us.

DRESS CODE: Please note that the ball is dress attire required and mask mandatory. No character/monster/zombie/hero/novelty costumes or related masks will be allowed, although we will once again be partial to devils and a few vacationing angels.  Period-wear, uniforms, formal, gothic dress or fashion chic is acceptable.  If in doubt, just dress well and wear a nice mask or view the Masquerade Ball Gallery for photos of what to expect.  You may also contact our ball sponsor IVY’s Custom Corsetry to start creating your elegant ensemble.
